Hazelmere Country Lodge offers luxury Self-catering accommodation in the Queenstown area.
Only 1km off the N6 highway, the lodge is situated on a sheep and cattle farm at the bottom of the Penhoek Pass in the scenic Birds River/Halseton area of the North Eastern Cape. The area is bounded by the majestic Stormberg Mountains in the North and the Andriesberg in the South.

The lodge is nestled in a beautiful garden surrounded by trees. Guest have access to a gravel tennis court, swimming pool, trout dam, hikes, and rock art viewing. There's plenty of room for children to run around and expend energy.
Summer days are warm with cool breezes in the evenings. Winters are cold and there is always a possibility of snow.
The lodge is fully licensed so do enjoy a drink in our intimate little pub "The Halseton" .
Hazelmere Country Lodge provides two suites - The Kingfisher Room & The Elephant Room. Both suites can accommodate up to four guests. Guests also have access to the Halseton Pub and Family Dining Room which features a pool table and in-door braai.
THE KINGFISHER SUITE
The Kingfisher Suite has an open-plan kitchenette and living/dining area. A short passage connects the main bedroom to the bathroom and second bedroom which has a bunk bed.
THE ELEPHANT SUITE
The Elephant Suite also features two bedrooms. The main bedroom is open-plan onto the dining area and the self-catering appliances are elegantly hidden in a cupboard. The second bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
